Below are some samplers of my recent work in the field of web development. Some were completed for clients, others were part of personal or academic projects.
Archar Mill Website - work in progress
This is the official website of Archar Mill, Bulgaria. The website is currently under construction and will be on-line very soon.
Geo semantic tweeting - gTweep
gTweep is fusion of the latest Twitter and Google Maps application programming interfaces. It shows where your friends tweet from using preferably the exact geo location information from their tweet or their default location as indicated on their profile. Gtweep also allows you to update your status, reply to tweets and geo tag yourself (currently possible only with Firefox 3.5 or later or Google Chrome). In addition, you can find directions to and from a certain tweet.
This web application is still in development, but you can check out the beta version at www.gtweep.com
CCiPort - a web video portal
CCiPort is the final project for my MSc Digital Media course. It is a website that offers video on demand and, potentially, other media related opportunities to both staff and students of the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries at the University of Portsmouth. It is a web channel for the University TV and also a video showcase for the students from the Creative Technologies school. CCiPort provides an environment for the students to share videos that can be seen and annotated by lecturers through an interactive flash application. The best videos are featured on the public part of the website.
The technologies involved in the project include Apache server, Flash Media Streaming Server, MySQL, PHP (the CodeIgniter framework), Flex with Actionscript 3.0 , JQuery etc.

Arts and Therapy Official Website
I did this website for a client that works in the field of psychology and arts therapy and organizes different groups of people to work with. The website had to be highly functional and dynamic (thus easy to update). Therefore, I took the opportunity to explore Joomla content management system and build the website around it.
Check it out here.
Official Website of Petar Atanasov
Pa444o.co.uk is the web portfolio of Petar Atanasov, a pharmacy student with a serious interest in photography.
MDC Flash Version
The Monkey Death Cult project was part of a Multimedia Asset Production course in the University of Portsmouth. The aim of project was to create a promotional video and a website for an organization of artists that pushes towards an evolution of the human expressiveness. The concept behind my project was that people are lifeless puppets in the hands of the social inertia.
Therefore I thought it would be a good idea to represent the three sections of the website (Acting, Music and Dance) with three puppets that "come to life" when you roll the mouse over them. I saw an opportunity to explore the new inverse kinematics system in Flash CS4. Therefore apart from the more static HTML version I created a Flash version as well.
You can see the result here (requires Flash Player 10).
MDC XHTML website
You can see this version of the website here.
Radio AURA - the pulse of Blagoevgrad
A couple of years ago I worked in a student radio called Aura as a producer. This is the design I did for the official website of the radio. In this case I did only the design and all the scripting was done by Tihomir Petkov.
